“I have been going to Kim’s classes for about a year now and have a marked improvement in my flexibility and strength. I always feel good in her classes because of the warmth and love she radiates to all. Her ability to bring out the best in me and inspire me without any more than less than attitude. Highly recommend her classes.”

“Kim is an amazing instructor and I highly recommend her services. I have known her for over 10 years and have been to many of her classes both publicly and privately. She is very detailed in her instructions and will help you adjust your movements if needed. Her goal is to improve your body physically, mentally and spiritually which she does every time. I have found that not only has my body become stronger and more flexible but my stress level has decreased and I eat healthier. I have taken her classes in her home, my home, on the beach and even while camping. Each time she brings something new to make each moment count whether it is a ten minute warmup or an hour session. Thank you Kim!! Can’t wait for our next session!!”

I went to Kim with aggressive carpal tunnel in my wrist and knee pain from soccer injuries. I had to stop playing soccer because of my knees and was bummed to missing out on my favorite sport. After a few months of doing the “ecise’s” Kim gave me for my postural realignment, I am THRILLED to report I am playing soccer again pain free!! The postures also helped eliminate the carpal tunnel in my wrist so I am back to slaving away at the computer pain free! I was a bit skeptical of these “postures” because they seem so passive, but Kim truly understands the design and flow of the human body and provides just what you need.

“Kim is an expert yoga teacher! She can change it up to what suits you best. Restorative, flow, strengthening. I have been working with her for 2 years and I am filled with gratitude after each session. She adjusts your body and your mind, her style is second to none! I also worked with her because of a frozen shoulder with severe pain. Her postural alignment has straightened my body and made me aware of bad postural habits. When I do my ecises it is like a miracle, NO MORE PAIN. I now have full mobility in my arms and legs!”

“Kim is super cool! I look forward to my thursday morning class all week. As a surfer and biker, my muscles can get pretty sore throughout the week. Kim’s classes are an amazing cure. I leave feeling so pumped for the week and weekend. I love the focus on breathing, flexibility, and balance. Every class is inspiring.”

“Kim Taylor is an excellent yoga instructor. Her home office is very inviting and I love her setup for the yoga studio. My girlfriend and I started seeing her for couples yoga and I have to say that the ability for her to tailor our sessions to our specific needs, and spend the time to make sure we are in perfect alignment while doing our poses really makes it 100% worth our wild. She has wonderful energy and a very warm soul. She’s the type of person you feel like you’ve known forever.”

“I’ve been to both Kim’s group class in SF and one-on-one classes in Oakland and enjoy them both for different reasons. I dig the oneonones as they are custom tailored to you and what you want to work on. It’s ok if you don’t know exactly what you want to work on too as she takes time to talk to you during your initial appointment and based on what she hears she comes up with a few ideas she thinks you might benefit from (don’t worry, she runs them by you first). My session was broken down into three parts (one of them being my yoga workout with two shorter sessions where we worked on other parts of my practice (such as being in the present moment). Afterwards she asked for feedback so she could make changes if necessary before our next session. Don’t know what more you’d want from a one-on-one!”

“I have been seeing Kim for Yoga for almost a year now. She is an amazing teacher, and super friendly. She cares a lot about her students, and provides a lot of very individualized attention. She also does lessons at a studio in the Outer Richmond in SF, which is very convenient. Kim is excellent and I highly recommend her.”

“I came to Kim in November of 2014 with a great deal of pain as I suffer from Torticolis or wry neck. I really did not expect much as I have tried acupuncture, yoga, massage, went to a chiropractor, and also have had botox injections which helped for a short while. Every treatment did help somewhat but surprisingly Egoscue has worked the most and is still working. I have a lot more control over my neck which of course makes me feel better and more confident, with a lot less pain. Kim is extremely attentive and caring and very astute. She does a lot of research to come up with custom ecises for my condition. The ecises have to be done each day at home. I am very pleased to have met Kim and will definitely continue to work with her. I am looking forward to another session.”

“After trying many modalities unsuccessfully over 5 years to help with back pain due to a severe slipped vertebrae, I met a woman on an airplane who recommended Kim Taylor as a postural alignment specialist using the Egoscue method. I am so glad I started working with Kim. Kim evaluated my posture/condition and provided “ecise” (exercise) menus that I use every day. They are very gentle and make gradual shifts in your body and posture. Within 2 weeks, I significantly reduced my pain and increased my activity and range of motion. Truly amazing! Kim is extremely knowledgeable in Egoscue, but also caring and encouraging. The only time I have had setbacks is when I have felt so good (you forget how horrible you felt) and stopped doing my menus. If you would like to make a change in your health and pain level, I highly recommend Kim Taylor.”

“I started working with Kim Taylor almost two years ago. I was looking for a restorative yoga instructor who would hopefully be able to help restore me to healthy exercising and less pain. During my first visit, she took a complete history and she also took pictures and videos of me. I didn’t understand why she was taking pictures, but she explained that it would help her plan a weekly program for me… During the second visit, she started dealing with my pain issues, both in my back and shoulder. She showed me exercises to do each week that would improve my balance, my strength, and my posture. These exercises are from a program developed by Pete Egoscue, who has written many books (“Pain Free”) and certified teachers, like Kim Taylor, who teach these exercises. What has transpired in the past two years has been amazing for me. My pain issues slowly went away, and I started sleeping better as a result of being pain free. I am able to walk the golf course again, and my golf handicap is starting to drop again finally. My balance is so much better now, that Kim and I spend complete sessions doing Hatha Yoga which I really enjoy again as I had done before my accident! Something I thought I would never be able to do.”
